Terms and Conditions

• House Sitting services are subject to a 25% cancellation fee if cancelled with less than two weeks notice (minimum 14 days' notice) and a 50% cancellation fee if cancelled with less than 1 weeks' notice (minimum 7 days' notice) at all times of the year.

• Posh Paws Pet Sitters will issue additional invoices after the initial payment for services for any additional or corrected charges due for that booking. Additional charges apply for incidentals including but not limited to if your pet requires transport to the vet or requires supplies to be acquired and purchased by the sitter.

• Vaccinations are required for house sitting for your pets! We require up to date for your pet's age of Rabies for both cats and dogs. These records must be kept up to date each time your pet's vaccinations expire.

• House sitting is based on a 24-hour rate. The 24-hours starts at the time you have the sitter arrive at your home on the first day and will end at the same time on the last day. We offer multiple options for taking care of your pets’ needs if you need care after that 24-hour period ends on the last day! You can book drop-in services before or after a house-sitting booking. (The sitter can arrive and leave for house sitting based on the 24-hour rate and can return for 30 min or 1-hour drop-in visits at the requested time for the drop-in rates. See drop in visits.)

• The 24-hour rate applies even if the client requests the sitter to remain only during the daytime hours. Overnight stays are not required for house sitting but the cost is the same for bookings that include overnight stays and bookings that do not. When a sitter does not stay at the home overnight, they still must wake up very early to be at the house to let the dogs out and must remain at the home very late at night to feed and potty them before bed.

• WE DO NOT WORK WITH AGGRESSIVE PETS! Sitters reserve the right to report bites, attacks, and any false or misleading information provided by the owner regarding a pet’s temperament to local authorities at their discretion. Owner’s will be responsible for any medical costs arising from a pet’s behaviors.

• Clients are responsible for damages caused by their pet to the sitter's property. Every effort is made to keep your pet away from destroyable property, but because pets are kept in the home environment and they are allowed to share space with the sitter, the client remains responsible for their pet's destructive behaviors. The client will work directly with the sitter to compensate them for damages. The sitter will provide pictures to the client immediately upon finding damages and inform the client of the repair or replacement cost of those items. By booking with Posh Paws Pet Sitters the client accepts responsibility for their pet's destructive behaviors and will compensate the sitter for damages.
